I just bought a table top studio to take shots of the jewellery I’m making. Up until now I’ve been using the studio at uni (when I can grab a spare appointment). Or I’ve been waiting for dry days when I can go outside and take a few shots with the perfect amount of cloud (!!) a bit hit-and-miss really.
It’s taken a few hours to set up and experiment with the lighting, but I think I’ve sorted it now. Took a few shots of my last pieces and they came out fine so I’m rather pleased with my new toys! It’s going to be so much better being able to just take the shots when I need to, rather than find a pro and wait for an appointment. Equally it adds to my workload but I am a control freak…..
