My name is Jo and I am a recent graduate of Bucks New University in High Wycombe where I completed a BA (hons) Jewellery degree in order to pursue a second career as a jeweller/designer-maker. Despite the fact that Tumblr seems to be mainly picture based, I use it as an actual blog. Here I write about what I’m up to with my jewellery work as well as using it as a general creative outflow. There’s something really spellbinding about being able to make something with my own hands and then be able to wear it, use it or even enjoy it’s implied function. It can be addictive. And for me an enjoyable part of the process is chronicling it somehow, whether that is graphically or textually, here in this blog or scribbled in a sketch book.
